stay or leave
My contract with the first company in my career will end half a year later. Should I stay here or look for another position? The company is negotiating with a company abroad about "strategic cooperation", or acquisition (being acquested). If it succeed, some stockholders would be millionaires. The BIG BOSS sent msgs to most employees' mobiles saying that "You will have a greater platform in your career in 2007." I do not think it is true or it will make effect immediately.
PS: anybody can tell me any mistake in the statement? I will post in English nonscheduled. Thank you.
回复删除fluent as it is..
回复删除one comment, "to be acquested" might be better.
What is "nonscheduled" here?
js
about后面能接"to do"吗?
回复删除不定期的?
"about to do" = "going to do"
回复删除I don't think the "about to do" here is able to be replaced with "going to do". It means "on the subject of (sb/sth); in connection with; concerning or regarding 关于; 对于; 有关", it is an adjunct of the verb "negotiate", "be about to do sth" means "be going to do immediately" when "about" is predicative.
